The Berzal family have been owners of their vine- growing business since time immemorial, which they have pampered and dedicated their efforts to from generation to generation. In 1958, Jose Luis Berzal created a small harvesting winery in the centre of Baños de Ebro. In 1980, the installations were extended to cope with his growing grape harvest. Nowadays, his sons, the 5th generation, share the responsibilities of the company. They now cultivate a quality vineyard, essentially made up by the red tempranillo variety which provides 80% of the wine harvest. To a lesser extent, they cultivate other grapes like viura, mazuelo and graciano. In 2001, they began to make crianza wines in their lovely, recently built winery. They currently export their wines to several European countries.
