Located in Alentejo, in the sub-region of Vidigueira, Quinta do Paral was born with one clear objective: to share this very special place with guests from all over the world, enjoying the typical calmness and serenity of the region. Dieter Morszeck and his family, in 2017, all fell in love with Quinta do Paral, which perfectly combines the terroir to produce unique wines and an historic building to restore and offer a wine tourism unit. Exactly the place they had in mind. History can be felt all over the quinta with the main house that once belonged to the Count of Palma and Countess of Santar and that is now being renovated to offer 21 luxury bedrooms, a restaurant, a sky bar, as well as a spa. The offer needs to be complete and match the high expectations of the new owners who have a long history in the luxury business, having run and put at the top the German family brand Rimowa. The property has a total of 120 hectares, 40 ha of vineyards, ten of which are old vines with more than 40 years. Typical grape varieties from the region as white grapes Arinto, Perrum, Antão Vaz and Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Grossa on the red grapes, are part of this heritage.
